Amen Jeffrey Patron

Mr. Amen Jeffrey Patron was born October 12, 1972, in Central Islip, Long Island, to the late Betty Gene Davis-Patron and James Patron. He was the sixth child of nine children. Raised in a happy and prayerful home surrounded by love, Amen had a beautiful spirit. To know him was to love him. Amen attended and graduated from Walt Whitman High School in South Huntington, Long Island. While there, he participated in acting, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, track, football, gymnastics and more. He also put together a group and started the first Black gospel choir in his high school and played multiple instruments with the band. He practiced and could play just about every instrument there was. He was known in school as the Professor. Amen’s passion for personal growth led him to higher education and achievement. It led him to pursue his education, earning his bachelor’s degree, earning three development certificates through Microsoft and continued to be enrolled in Harvard’s Artificial Intelligence Program. Amen was a jack of all trades. He loved to read and acquire knowledge. Amen was a businessman that was so intelligent, starting a real estate business and a small car dealership. He was a producer, singer, song writer and musician. He produced for many celebrities, you know today. He was also one of the clothing designers for Whitney Houston. Amen was a member of the Fat Nappa Crew in Long Island where he and the crew traveled and performed on tours all over the US. Amen also, with a group of friends started U and I record label in Long Island. Amen was baptized in Jesus’ name in Rapture Preparation Church by his dad and Pastor Bishop James Patron in Westbury, Long Island. While at Rapture, he played the organ and drums for the church until he relocated to North Carolina. Professionally, He worked for Integrity Marketing Group as a Senior Software Developer since 2009. Amen loved his coworkers and became very close friends with some throughout his time in North Carolina. He was loved and respected by his colleagues; above all, he was a devoted father, grandfather, a loving husband, and a cherished friend to so many. His greatest joy was his family. He loved his children so much. He had his first born and only son Amen Jr. in 1997. He also had 3 daughters, Madara, Grace, and Amindi. Later Amen met and married the love of his life, Ingrid on December 15, 2017, whom he adored. He found happiness and from that union, they had a daughter Jasmine and two stepdaughters, Ibelka and Ilka. Though Amen valued his privacy, he was always there for those in need. His kind and dependable nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Amen Jeffrey Patron’s memory will live on in the hearts of many. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Amen tragically departed this life on Tuesday. January 14, 2025 @ 3:36AM, in an automobile accident. He is leaving to cherish his memories: His Wife, Ingrid Paralta-Patron; His Son, Amen Patron Jr; His Daughters, Medara, Grace, Amindi, & Jasmine Patron; two Stepdaughters, Ibelka Maria Paralta & Ilka Marie Paralta; His Granddaughter, Emoni Clementine Patron; four brothers, James, Torrence, Brian and Seyquan Patron; seven sisters, Carolyn, Katrena, Mary and Yolanda Patron, Tanya Patron-Powell, Tawanna Willis, & Dominique Patron who proceeded him in death; Mother-in-law, Mercedes Tavarez; four Brothers-In-law, Maurice Powell, Darryl Willis, Jose Francisco Taverez and Alexis Tavarez; two Sisters- In-law, Samara Patron & Arelis Maria Pena; his Best Friend of NC, Jason; Childhood best friend, Samual Bradley; and a host of Nieces. Nephews, Spiritual family, relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home 122 West Main Street, Thomasville, NC 27360, with Elder Leonard Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends from 9:00 AM – until 10:45 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. A memorial service will be held on February 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Rapture Preparation Church of God and True Holiness 875 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, NY 11590.
