Suicide Prevention Month "Break The Silence" Walk

Holly Hill Memorial Park, in partnership with Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations – Thomasville, is bringing our community together to remember the 2,977 lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unity our nation demonstrated in the days that followed. The service will include special guests, patriotic music, reflections, a moment of silence at 8:46am, a dove release, and other meaningful moments of remembrance. We are also expecting statewide elected officials, local public officials, and community leaders to attend. We anticipate a significant media presence, with local media outlets expected to attend and cover this special occasion. As we mark 25 years since September 11th, we believe it is important to continue telling the stories of those we lost, the heroes who responded, and the lasting impact that day had on our nation and our communities. 25 years have passed. The memories remain. We hope you will consider joining us at Holly Hill Memorial Park, at The Singing Tower, as our community comes together to remember, honor, and reflect. We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.

As the seasons begin to change and summer slowly gives way to fall, we’re reminded that some things never change. Especially the love we carry for those who are no longer with us. Please join us for our September Holly Hill Lantern Night, a special evening set aside to pause, reflect, and remember the people who have shaped our lives and left an everlasting mark on our hearts. As the lanterns glow across the water, we’ll take a moment to think about the stories, laughter, lessons, and memories that keep our loved ones close. Bring a family member. Bring a friend. Bring a memory. Because while we may not be able to make new memories with them, we can continue to honor the ones we have.  We’d love to have you with us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and togetherness.

Join us for Chalk It Up @ Holly Hill on Sunday, October 4th from 3pm-5pm! This Sidewalk Chalk Art contest will be judged by some special members of our community. All supplies will be provided, just bring your talent and smiles! *Cash prizes will be awarded* Come out on and Chalk It Up @ Holly Hill!
